Greetings to each of you from your pastor and staff!
You have had a long time this spring with limited or no visitation to you due to COVID-19. Ruth and I miss you more than you miss us! I pray that in the absence of visitors that God has become more real to you. When no one else is around, God is there. Last week my mother went to be with the Lord. Up until her final week, she opened her Bible and read the Scriptures and then talked with God. She died with her eyes open wide looking to her eternal home.
Wouldn’t you feel sorry for someone who never had burdens, trials or tribulations? How could that person grow strong to meet the storms of life? Such a person might be likened to a marshmallow. How does an oak tree grow strong? Bending in the wind day by day, it develops resistance against the storms that beat on it. Deuteronomy 33:25, “As your days, so shall your strength be.” We are taught to live one day at a time and leave the yesterdays and tomorrows in the hands of the God of love.
“Day by day,” the promise reads,
Daily strength for daily needs.
Cast foreboding fears away;
Take the manna of today.
Thou my daily task shalt give;
Day by day to Thee I live.
So shall added years fulfill,
Not my own, my Father’s will.

The Bible Is Your Infallible Authority for Life

THANKS TO THE BERCLAIR CHURCH FAMILY:
I have heard many reports of financial suffering during COVID-19. I want to thank our church family for your faithfulness to God in your tithes and offerings. Our offerings were more than $5,000.00 over our expenses in April. Praise The Lord! God will continue to bless you as you are faithful to Him. Please let us know if you have spiritual or other needs.
